Bagno di Romagna is "Orange Flag”

Foto1 The "Orange Flag" waves in the Town Hall and it is the last pride of Bagno di Romagna.

In fact since 21st July 2005 Bagno di Romagna is one of the 18 communes in Emilia Romagna “certified” by this important recognition that up to now the Touring Club has given to 100 Italian towns.

Foto3 This prestigious recognition lasts 2 years and it is the only Italian project recognized worldwide. It is given to those inland communes with a population of less than 15 thousand people, which meet a number of requirements connected to the development of a quality tourism.

Foto4 The following are some of the elements requested by the Touring Club to gain the Orange Flag, given with absolute autonomy of judgment and after a meticulous analysis and inspections:

the enhancement of the cultural heritage, the protection of the environment, the culture of hospitality, the access and availability of the resources, the availability of information, the quality of receptivity, refreshment and typical products.

This important tourist environmental quality trademark has been gained by the T.C.I to the whole municipal territory of Bagno di Romagna with the following motivation:

“Good availability of tourist information, thanks to the comfortable and well marked office; good preservation of the old town centre where the traffic is limited and does not disturb during the visit; great care to the street furniture and the public parks and gardens; variety in the typology of the receptive structures of the territory”.
