Maestà di Felcitino

Maestà di Felcitino

It is along the forest track that leads from Poggio alla Lastra to the abandoned church of Pietrapazza (10 km): located at the confluence of the stream of Lastricheto with the "Bidente piccolo", also indicates the detour that leads to the dilapidated house of Felcitino. It is a small pillar with large roughly roughed and stacked stones; the niche formed by four slabs, covered by a sheet roof, surmounted by a large stone. A plaque with inscription - removed in the eighties - reminded that the majesty was erected by those who survived the deadly cholera of 1855

Getting here

BY WALK: follow the trail that from Bagno di Romagna reaches Pietrapazza (7,500 km), marked b / r (Val di Bagno trek and CAI path). It is about half a mile past Pietrapazza. BY CAR: Going along the E / 45, exit at the "S. Piero in Bagno" indication, following left; shortly after (300 meters) take the SP 26 on the right and follow it up to 14 km where you take on the left a winding municipal road that in 6 km leads to the village of Poggio alla Lastra. Instead coming from Forlì to S. Sofia you follow the SP 26, and at km 1.00 you turn right into the municipal road. Once in Poggio alla Lastra, shortly after you follow the dirt track on the left that with gentle ups and downs always runs along the Bidente up to Pietrapazza (10.00 km): the majesty is placed half a km from Pietrapazza, at the confluence of Fosso di Lastricheto in Bidente, besides Frassine and Ca 'di Michelone.
