Lago di Acquapartita
Lago di Acquapartita
On the slopes of Mount Comero, there is a 4-hectare lake dedicated to sport fishing.
Restored at the end of the nineteenth century, the Acquapartita lake owes its name to the fact that it dried up at the beginning of the eighteenth century when despite the custom of renting the small natural lake to a conductor to watch and guard the water to avoid he said at the time, "that the water did not leave", the water left and the basin remained dry.
Surrounded by greenery just a few kilometers from the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Montefalterona and Campigna, the Acquapartita lake is today characterized by a fish fauna that offers the possibility to fish in all seasons and with different sports techniques thanks to the presence of four subspecies of trout such as the Trout Lake or Salmonata Trotra, two types of Pike, the Carp, the Tinca, the Sturgeon, the Salmierino and the Black Bass.
The village of Acquapartita, which is part of the municipality of Bagno di Romagna from which it is less than 7 kilometers, rises to almost 800 meters above sea level and is an ideal place, as well as for fishing, also to spend holidays in total relaxation being equipped with hotel facilities, typical restaurants of the Romagna tradition, paths that can be covered on foot, on horseback or by bicycle.
in winter the frozen lake gives a unique show, worthy of the most beautiful mountain views.
