Campanile della Basilica di Bagno di Romagna
Next to the centuries-old Basilica of S. Maria Assunta di Bagno di Romagna stands a bell tower, compact and austere, 32 meters high. According to some historians it was one of the two towers that defended the medieval "castrum". For the most part rebuilt around 1770, in 1858 a mechanism for repeating tower clock was built by Agostino Cavina. The dial is marked by Roman numerals, in classic characters and the hours interspersed with Florentine lilies.
