B & B Palazzo Pretolani

Palazzo Pretolani, which is situated in the centre of San Piero in Bagno, was built in the early 1920s to a design by Giovanni Pretolani (1897-1956), who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Conceived and designed according to the eclectic architectural styles of the early twentieth century, the façade has decorations and symbols that recall Art Nouveau figures.
The communal areas are on the first and second floors where the walls are covered with artwork by Giovanni Pretolani, and temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists. The B & B room is on the second floor and part of a later extension, with particular garret features.
